Klamath River Clean Up 2016

The Yurok Tribe and Watershed Stewards Program would like to invite you to participate in the 15th annual Klamath River Clean Up. Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. in the Community Room of the Yurok Tribe Main Office located at 190 Klamath Blvd. Klamath, CA. At this year’s event, volunteers will be either helping pick up garbage, removing invasive species, plant trees, or participate in a community art project.

The event includes a free breakfast in the morning and a delicious lunch of traditionally cooked salmon at the end of the day served at the Yurok Tribe Main Office in Klamath. Volunteers will receive a commemorative t-shirt and grocery tote for participating in this event, and prizes from local donors will be raffled off. Gloves and water will be provided, and volunteers are advised to wear clothes and boots that can get dirty. We look forward to seeing you all there!
