January Science on Tap: A River Reborn

Prepare for an epic four-speaker event all about the Klamath Dam removals. Max Ramos and Bob Pagliuco will start the night off with a discussion on pre-dam removal studies, followed by an update on fish numbers and post-dam removal monitoring led by Toz Soto and Alex Corum. Join us to hear the latest scoop from post-dam removal monitoring activities such as spawning surveys, weirs, sonar, and radio tagging results. You won't want to miss these informative talks on the largest dam-removal restoration project in history.

The presentations start at 6 pm, but be sure to swim in early to snag a spot and grab a local beverage from the Mad River Brewery. We’ll see you there!

We recommend bringing a cozy sweater to stay warm and even a backup chair, as seating can fill up quickly. If possible, consider carpooling since parking can be limited at times.

Science on Tap fosters collaboration among local advocates for natural resources. Let's create a platform for sharing ideas and inspire resilience in environmental restoration for generations to come. Join us in building an inclusive space that welcomes everyone into the environmental community, making knowledge accessible and enjoyable for all in a laid-back and fun setting. See you there!
