Inspiring Girls: The Women and Girls of North Star Quest
How have women and girls touched your life and inspired you? North Star Quest Camp for Girls is hosting the 2nd annual exhibition, celebrating International Women's Day through art. Join us with your friends and family at this all ages opening reception during March 7th's Arts Alive! at the Brenda Tuxford Gallery at 325 2nd St, suite #203 (On the second floor above Siren's Song). The exhibition will be up throughout the month of March.
All are invited to create and submit works of art that reflect either how women and girls have inspired you, or how you have been an inspiration to our youth. The call for entries is posted in the timeline below.
North Star Quest Camp is a 5 day overnight camp in the beautiful Mattole River valley for girls going into 6-8 grades. NSQ is all about you: Who are you inside? Who are you in your community? Who are you in the world? Workshops help girls learn about themselves, their potential, and how to take care of themselves and the world they live in. We offer scholarships for anyone who qualifies, and never turn a camper away. North Star Quest Camp is a DreamMaker project of the Ink People Center for the Arts
