Humboldt Steel Pan Festival
Saturday, May 21st at Perigot Park in Blue Lake, from noon to 8pm, join us at the Humboldt Steel Pan Festival. This is an all ages event, featuring six bands who all play the steel pan in their music. Local bands like the Humboldt Calypso Band (from HSU), Pandemic,The Blue Dragon Steel Band (from Blue Lake and Trinidad schools), Timbata, Business Casual, and from Crescent City, the Del Norte High Steel Band. This is an event to celebrate the with community of people who love the sound of the steel pan. Sponsored by The Ink People Center for the Arts, Mad River Brewery and Blue Lake Parks And Recreation. All proceeds will benefit steel pan education in Humboldt County. May 21st, Perigot Park in Blue Lake, noon to 8pm. Come dance with us to the sound of the steel pan!
