HSU Symphonic Band and Jazz Orchestra

HSU Symphonic Band premieres The Poseidon Overture by composer and North Coast resident Michael Kibbe, plus classics by William Schuman, Aaron Copland and Percy Grainger, and a percussive experience by contemporary John Mackey. Jazz Orchestra mixes original tunes by HSU alums with a 50th anniversary tribute to the legendary Thad Jones-Mel Lewis Big Band. Directed by Paul Cummings and Dan Aldag.
