Holiday Concert at HSU
It’s the biannual holiday concert by three large ensembles: Humboldt Symphony plays Corelli’s Christmas Concerto and other works, the Humboldt Chorale community singers perform sacred music from Europe and America, and the University Singers perform contemporary composer John Rutter’s “Gloria,” based on Gregorian chant. All three ensembles combine on the major work, Schubert’s Magnificat, and other music of the season. Paul Cummings, Elisabeth Harrington and Harley Muilenburg direct. Produced by HSU Music Dept.
