FREE EVENT! Join us for the 8th annual Get Out and Play Day! There will be adult and kid friendly activities taking place all over Eureka. And the best part... All activities are FREE!
Below is a schedule of activities and where they are taking place. We hope you will join us!
SEQUOIA PARK:
11am to noon - Yoga in the Park
11am to 2pm - Waterslide (provided by Humboldt Bay Fire)
Noon to 1pm - Zumba in the Park
2pm to 4pm - FAMILY OLYMPICS (win prizes!)
DISCOVERY MUSEUM:
10am to 4pm - Free Admissions (all ages)
COOPER GULCH:
10am to 3pm - Skateboard Competition (all ages, register at 10am)
MADAKET:
11am, 11:30am and noon - FREE Rides (all ages)
HARTMAN FIELD:
11am to 1pm - Homerun Derby (register by July 29)
BONNIE GOOL DOCK:
11am to 4pm - Electric Bike and Kayak Demos by Pacific Outfitters
OLD TOWN:
Noon to 4pm - Clarke Museum Street Fair, FREE Museum Admission (sponsored by Pierson's), and Historical Old Town Tours
SEQUOIA PARK ZOO:
Noon to 4pm - Kids 12 & Under FREE with paying adult (animal feedings every hour noon to 4pm)
EUREKA MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE:
Noon to 4pm - FREE Bucket of Balls for Driving Range, Long Drive Contest, Putting Contest, Cocina Mariposa is open
CAL POLY HUMBOLDT AQUAITC CENTER:
1pm to 3pm - Kayak, Canoe, and Paddleboard Demos
