Gentle Yoga

Arcata Recreation Division and Patricia Starr offer Gentle Yoga for those 18 years and older. This three week session runs Fridays, November 7-21. Join Patricia and other community members for a gentle and powerful yoga class. Learn methods to relax your body and calm your mind. Friday mornings, 8:30 to 10:00 a.m., in the Redwood Lounge, Redwood Park Arcata. Pre-registration is required. Drop-In Fee: $15. Practice yoga stretches and poses, for all levels and body types. Through yoga, learn to improve your flexibility, balance and concentration. Yoga also strengthens the immune system and improves spinal alignment. The regular practice of yoga reduces stress and promotes health and harmony in the body. All levels of experience are welcome – especially beginners.
