Arcata, Ca. ~ 4 p.m. Friday, January 20th, 2017, The Minor Theater in Arcata (1001 H St, Arcata) will presenting a Free Screening of Enlightenment Now, a new film featuring Guru Steven Sadleir. Steven will be in Arcata for this screening on January 20th and a day of Meditation on January 21st at the Arcata Vets Hall. The film follows Steven as he talks with many other of the worlds most prominent Gurus. Steven has been teaching Yoga for 40 years. He was called to begin to meditate at age five, experiencing states of higher consciousness that led him, at the age of 16, to write a book on the religions of the world that became a best-seller called, Looking for God, a Seeker’s Guide to Religious and Spiritual Groups of the World. During the next twenty-five years he studied and wrote about each of the world’s spiritual paths, denominations, and forms of yoga and meditation. He received teacher training in several forms of yoga and meditation, and began teaching in the late 1970's. He has been trained as a Master under Vethathiri Maharishi to teach the Tamil Siddha form of Kundalini yoga and meditation and was trained in yoga tapas by Sri Sri Sri Shivabalayogi Maharaj and asked by the Maharaj to give Dhyana and Shaktipat. Steven transmits Shaktipat live to students all over the world during live teleconferences held each month. He is the host of Enlightenment Radio, best-selling author, appears in two new spiritual movies - Spiritual Revolution and 3 Magic Words - and twelve episodes of Spirit Clips on the Hallmark Channel.
