Eureka Theater and Carson Park Design have teamed up for our monthly Fourth Friday Flix to bring you a Mel Brook's classic: Blazing Saddles!!!
A little bit about this classy morsel. . .
Hedley Lamarr. Horse punching. The beans. Oh, lord, the beans. Mel Brooks took issue with the American Film Institute naming SOME LIKE IT HOT as the funniest movie of all time, insisting that, laugh for laugh, there's never been a funnier movie than BLAZING SADDLES. Good people can disagree on this, but you gotta admit it deserves respect. Hilariously funny and blisteringly politically incorrect, there's enough highbrow and lowbrow humor to offend just about everyone.
Admission is $5, tickets sold at the door. However, we request you NOT pay with a s**t-load of dimes. There will be popcorn, candy, sodas, beer and wine available for purchase.
All proceeds benefit the continuing restoration of the Eureka Theater.
