Forestry Practices Hike
Join Sanctuary Forest on Saturday, July 27 for the Forestry Practices Hike. Held in the Root Creek watershed and led by representatives of Humboldt Redwood Company, the hike will provide insight into the many decisions foresters make relative to sustainable timber production. Meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Humboldt Redwood Company main office in Scotia. Bring a lunch, and plenty of water, sturdy shoes and layers. If possible, bring a 4 x 4 vehicle to help with carpooling. This hike is moderate.
