Food as Medicine Tour
Take a tour with Jed Rudd from Mad River Hospital on a tour of the hospital's 2.2 acre Garden/Farm from 2pm to 2:30pm on Saturday, Sept. 14 as part of the Food as Medicine Conference's events. This event is for medical providers, nutrition and health educators and food system advocates. Mad River Community Hospital is one of the first and one of the few hospitals that serves fresh produce from an on-site vegetable garden and hydroponics greenhouse to patients and in the hospital's “Garden Court Café”.
