Everyone is a Scientist
Everyone interested in being a citizen scientist for a day is invited to join the UC Cooperative Extension Team at Redwood Roots Farm in Bayside for an opportunity to learn more about local food production, water conservation, and local pollinators. In collaboration with Redwood Roots Farm staff, we will take part in a statewide effort to quantify pollinators, map out locally grown food in our community, and discuss water conservation efforts.
Bring a lunch and play in the garden!
Redwood Roots Farm is located off of Jacoby Creek Road in Bayside, California, just past the Humboldt Universalist Unitarian Fellowship.
This event is FREE, but advanced registration is required so that we can be sure to accommodate everyone.
