Join other gardening enthusiasts and glean information from Molly Barker the Executive Director of the Mendocino Botanical Gardens as she shares stories of her 40-year career in horticulture.

Here's a bit about Molly:
Molly Barker has been Executive Director at the Mendocino Botanical Gardens for the past eight plus years. She has worked in public Horticulture for nearly 40 years, starting with at Filoli, a formal bay area Garden. She worked in positions ranging from intern, lead horticulturist and Director of Education. She then moved to Santa Barbara to be the Director of Casa del Herrero, another historic landscape which achieved National Historic Landmark status.

Her academic background is in both chemistry and horticulture, in fact she received her first college degree in Plant Science from College of the Redwoods, Eureka Campus, in 1978.

She is happy to be back in the redwoods and especially at the beautiful, diverse, and whimsical Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, forty-seven acre Flowerland to the Sea.
