Dumb Movies With Smart People
Have you ever been watching a disaster movie and thought, "Wait, could that REALLY happen?" Have you ever watched an actor playing a scientist and wondered, "Is everything they are saying completely made up, or is that really a thing?" If so, this is the event for you! This month, we will be showing a movie whose name we cannot disclose publicly, due to our movie licensing agreement (#fun). But, it's about tornados and rhymes with "Schmister".* After the movie, we will have a Q&A with local Warning Coordinating Meteorologist, Ryan Alward. Ryan will be able to answer all of your tornado-related questions, tell us more about extreme weather situations, and let us know what the movie got right, and what it got so, so wrong. *Still not sure?
