Creative Writing
Instructor: Stewart Kirby Tuesdays and 5:30-8pm March 10th-May 5th Cost: $80 This course is open to all levels of writing, and focuses on starting and ending one or more stories. Students will develop their story-writing muscles by jumping in and doing. The closest thing to a textbook will be the second half of Stephen King’s ON WRITING, methodology of which is to write a few pages every day. By setting aside consistent time to write the student may be able to create events with settings, conflict and resolution, or some intriguing facsimile thereof, for a duration of eight weeks.
