Community Garden Workshop
A free workshop with resources for community gardening is at Jefferson Community Center in Eureka on Saturday May 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Community Garden Workshop features a panel discussion, free garden resources like seeds and starts, and mini-workshops on topics including “Garden Design,” “Outreach Tactics,” “Fundraising,” “Creating Welcoming Spaces for All,” “Tips for Sustaining Gardens,” “School and Youth Gardens,” “Seeds and Plant Propagation,” and “Least Toxic Pest Controls.” Breakfast and networking are at 8:30 a.m. and the workshop starts at 9.
