Color Me Queer All Ages Drag Show
RCAA’s The RAVEN Project is having a youth Drag Show on Friday February 19th from 7pm-11pm themed “Color Me Queer”! This is all age’s event where youth ages 10-21 will perform awesome Drag performances! Emceed by local Queen Fuscia Rae, the show will take place at Synapsis (47 West 3rd St.) in Eureka and be followed by an awesome dance party with DJ Anya! This event is drug and alcohol free, and a safe space for queer and Trans individuals.
Are you a youth age 10-21 who would love to join the show!? Leading up to the actual event there will be a series of three workshops led by local Drag experts Fuscia Rae and Justin Cider to prepare each performer! The workshops will also take place at Synapsis in Eureka, and are scheduled as follows:
2/2/16- Workshop #1 Costume and Body Techniques 5:30pm -8:30pm @ Synapsis
2/9/16 – Workshop #2 Makeup Application 5:30pm-8:30pm @ Synapsis
2/16/16 – Workshop #3 Stage Presence and Performance Techniques 5:30pm-8:30pm @ Synapsis
2/19/16- Drag Show and Dance Party 7pm-11pm @ Synapsis
