Landscaping Training Dates: April 4 - May 18, 2016 Days: Mondays and Wednesdays Time: Hands-On Training Days: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m Lecture Days: 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Fee: $695 Job Search Workshop: March 3, 2016 from 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Employment & Training Division 930 6th Street Eureka Interactive and classroom course for adults and youth looking to acquire skills for landscaping with a green and sustainable emphasis. Also includes business entrepreneurship ideas for those looking for a self-employment pathway from an entry-level job training. This class includes skill building for basic hand tools - mowers, blowers, and string trimmers, all the way to identifying mechanical systems and learning a bit about reading plans, how to scale, and best practices for planting trees and managing water flow. Field trips and hands-on experiences are plentiful.
