Denver's CLEMENTINE WAS RIGHT is the songwriting project of poets Mike Young and Gion Davis, galloping and swaying through hook-smeared bootgaze and western emo. The band features an orchard of collaborators from the Sierra Nevadas to the Ozarks, complicating and queering the lineage of "country music" with yokel fuzz.
With Georgia alt-country/emo band FARSEEK and local band DINNER SERVICE. Bar opens at 6 pm for Taco Tuesday, music starts at 8:30 pm. $10 - $15 sliding scale. 21+
