Celebration of Bill Holmes' Life
Beloved troubador, activist, friend, and father, Bill Holmes, passed on August 30, 2014. Please come celebrate his life and the contributions he made to our lives and the culture and spirit of our communities. Bill died at home, on August 30th 2014. At his request, we are having a CELEBRATION of his life. All are invited, whether you knew Bill or not. Musicians and singers are encouraged to come play and sing. We will have amplification, thanks to Bill. He made it possible for local musicians and activists to amplify their sounds anywhere -without permission and without City electricity. There will be lots of tasty healthy and not-so-healthy food and GOOD VIBES. We'll barbeque for omnivores and vegans. Bill liked cheeseburgers (and sometimes would make a batch and pass them out to hungry people). Bring your memories, love of music, your smiles, and a good appetite. And bring a friend. See you on Sunday, and as Bill always said, "Have a peaceful day."
