Career Frontiers College Insight Panel
From 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Monday April 3 in the McKinleyville High School (1300 Murray Road, McKinleyville) library, HSU Speech Lecturer James Floss, College of the Redwoods Communications Professor Kerry Mayer, and HSU Kinesiology Professor Justus Ortega will be on a panel to answer questions and share their insight and perspective about the differences between high school and college classes, and the expectations from college faculty for being successful in college. This panel will offer students the chance to hear directly from college professors how to best prepare for the rigor of college level work, and tips and advice for success in a college environment. All local students and their parents are welcome to this public event.
