Every student in this field and every person who attends this presentation will be some of the first in the world to learn about the Award Winning 3D Digital Herbarium at Cal Poly Humboldt, which is a student-powered project that is one of the FIRST OF ITS KIND IN THE WORLD and is transforming how we use Botany from a 2D to 3D Digital Interactive Herbarium. This innovative tool allows users to explore the detailed anatomy of plants in WAYS NOT POSSIBLE WITH TRADITIONAL PRESSED SPECIMENS. It’s particularly valuable for remote learners and those without access to physical collections, opening up new possibilities in ecological studies and conservation efforts.
