11th Annual Hip Hop Conference
Cal Poly Humboldt’s 11th Annual Hip Hop Conference: Power to the People, is a three-day event taking place April 23 - 25. Organized by the Critical Race, Gender, & Sexuality Studies department, we will be hosting Public Enemy’s Chuck D. as our keynote speaker 04/23. This event is significant as it creates space for the Black and Brown diaspora in Humboldt to build community, and learn about the important cultural and sociopolitical history of hip hop. Join us as we will host panelists, student speakers, as well as come together through food, music, and dancing!
