Buddy Brown Blues Festival

The 22nd annual blues festival features all local bands, and is the only fundraiser that the Folklife Society puts on annually. Beers by Powers Creek Brewery, and food by Low & Slow BBQ (incl. vegetarian choices).

The Buddy Brown Blues Fest began in 2001 as the Blue Lake Blues Festival, and was renamed in memory of Richard Duggins (better known as Buddy Brown), who opened the festival its first year and passed away shortly after.
