Brewing Icons Q&A Session
This free event is a lead up to the Humboldt Homebrew Festival. Denny Conn and Mike "Tasty" McDole, two brewing icons, will be attending the festival and have agreed to come one day early for this one-of-a-kind event.
Denny and Tasty both decided to forgo their usual powerpoint presentations and instead suggested to field questions from local brewers, homebrewers and craft beer enthusiasts. This opportunity may never come again! Both Denny and Tasty are homebrewers, but they are in and around the brewing industry and highly regarded among their pro brewer counterparts. Denny is a consultant for several breweries and also the co-author of Experimental Homebrewing and Tasty's recipes have been brewed around the world and his legendary "Janets Brown Ale" is currently brewed at Russian River Brewing Company (and will also be on tap at the festival on 4/4).
After the Q&A, Denny will be signing copies of Experimental Homebrewing which will be available for purchase. This book is not necessarily for the beginner brewer, but would still provide useful information. This book is chock full of recipes, processes, experiments and motivation to get you to brew....and its actually a very entertaining read!
