Red River (1948)
The Humboldt County Library's "Based on the Book" classic film series continues, with a focus on the Old West. The third film in the series is Howard Hawks' classic RED RIVER, starring John Wayne and Montgomery Clift. The Duke plays a tyrannical rancher whose tensions with his adopted son reach epic proportions during a cattle drive to Missouri. Hosted by Philip Wright.
