Arts Alive

Eureka Main Street is excited to relaunch First Saturday Night Arts Alive beginning July 3rd from 6-9pm. While not all businesses will be participating right away, many are anxious to pick up where we left off in March 2020. 

FIRST SATURDAY NIGHT ARTS ALIVE – July 3rd
 
Our galleries, museums, theaters, bars and restaurants are open once again!!!  However individual businesses are still taking precautions to keep patrons and staff save – including the request to wear masks when entering their stores, and limiting the number of people inside at one time. Please let us all show love and respect for our wonderful businesses!

SISTERS CLOTHING COLLECTIVE – 328 Second St.  Noah Rainone, Portland artist; My Daughters the Otters, Linden Tyler, local author. His first foray as a children’s author, the story is about his daughters. Refreshments served.

CLARKE HISTORICAL MUSEUM – 240 E Street NEALIS HALL Shirley Laos doing hands on demos on processing beargrass used in weaving and dressmaking.
Tools of the Tradeexploring the multiple histories of fire fighting in Humboldt County, thanks to a partnership with Humboldt Bay Fire’s retired firefighter, and HBF historian, Kevin Voorhees. Remarkable examples of how firefighting uniforms, safety equipment, preventative measures, and firefighting tools have evolved over time. Lentell Map 17 foot tall papier mache map of Humboldt County from 1915, restoration by Lisa Jarrow. MADRONE BRICK FIRE PIZZA & TAPROOM – 421 Third St. Annual fundraiser with Humboldt Skate Lab, and The Epitome Gallery, painted skate decks will be on display, and for sale. This fundraiser provides skateboards to boys and girls who wouldn’t otherwise be able to purchase one. Music with DJ Goldylocks.
