Trying to do your holiday shopping but just can’t find the time? Arcata Play Center’s Holiday Pop Up Shop is a great opportunity to support local entrepreneurs and check items off your list while your kids play. This Holiday Pop Up Shop is a Fundraising Event for Arcata Play Center. Don’t miss out on this opportunity Wednesday, December 14 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. This event events brings local parent entrepreneurs to Play Center to sell their hand made products to families who might otherwise have a challenging time getting out and shopping. Featuring: The Lovely Muse, Young Loving Essential Oils with Joni Murphy, Toad Art Co., LulaRoe with Valerie Boyer, Cheerful Designs by Rene Giggs, Tye Dye Babies & Sacred Scents Jewelry, Julianna Dean Photography and more to join in. The City of Arcata Recreation Division, with funding from First 5 Humboldt, offers a safe and comfortable place for families to meet, share and play. Bring your newborns and children up to five years old to the D Street Neighborhood Center, 1301 D Street in Arcata. Arcata Play Center meets weekly on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (snacks are offered), this is a year-round program. Suggested donation of $3/child.
