Hedegaard, the “king of car music”, Grammy winner, and one of the most acclaimed EDM artists to ever touch down in Humboldt, is coming to Arcata, Dec 2nd. The club producer takes influence from pop, rap, and other genres to create a dance music style all his own. This international headliner has multiple songs with over a billion plays including his remix of Dr Dre’s “The next episode” earning over 1.4 billion plays. This international award winning artist will be making his Humboldt debut at our first ever “Arcane Nightmare”, which is a Nightmare Before Christmas themed event. Pull out those creepy costumes and get into theme as we transform the grounds of Rampart into something out of a Tim Burton movie with creepy crawlies, button eyes, and animated dolls… you may even meet Jack under the cobwebs! We are bringing 8 acts, 2 stages, djs, dancers, fire performers, live painters, aerialists, Pole Dancers, multiple bars, art installations from LFO, pillow pit, VIP, bottle service and more! Get ready to catch this insanely talented artists in an incredibly themed show as we kick off the winter season. We will have extra heaters and coverage outside to keep you warm as you experience the art and vendors outside the main dance floor.
Come experience the amazing talents of GMNIITE as she plays a high energy Future Bass and Trap set, as well as a special electronic infused set by 6 time NCJ “Best DJ of Humboldt”, PRESSURE, and an electro hip hop set by the incredibly talented, STATIK. Other performances will be done by THE VAGABOND DANCERS, and the amazing, BELLA VITA FIRE CO. As well as RAINE & others flying high on the aerials. Don’t miss multiple live painters including KATIE ROSE RAINBOWMAKER, DMISE, & Kyle. The VIP ticketholders will receive goodie bags sponsored by Express Smokeshop and experience elevated viewing, a private bar and of course the Air Lounge & Pillow Pit. We will have vendors including Los Gilles for food and Ancient Arts piercing & tattoos on vendor row outside! Since The release of an unofficial remix of Dr. Dre's "The Next Episode" in 2011,introducing the audience to HEDEGAARD’s unique sound, he has produced several of the biggest Nordic hits the last decade,generating more than-mind blowing-1.4billion streams across streaming platforms.
"Happy Home" with Lukas Grahamand"Twerk It Like Miley" with Brandon Beal and Christopher,are just a couple of the major hits HEDEGAARD has released and produced over the past years,resulting in several #1’s all over the World. Before recently, turning his focus back to the clubs.
On the singles "JUMANJI" and "SA-MY-D", HEDEGAARD returned to the rap-club fusion he invented years ago, which led to his big breakthrough and earned him the undisputed title in club music, as the"King of Car Music".The release of the single "ALL DESIGNER" had a global impact,with #1 positions inSouthern Europe, the Baltics and China; followed by the single "JEEP", as the first release under a new multi-year artist and label deal with the world's leading label in club music, Spinnin Records,which included the launch of his own record company OneHundred, with a focus on developing artists releasing music in the globally trending Car Music genre.
With the release of the single “NYC BABY”, and the localized version “BEIJING BABY”-released exclusively in China–he took the top spot once again on the weekly QQ Music EDM Chart. Lateron the single took second place on the quarterly version of the same chart, for the entire Q2. The Follow up singles “BORED” and “The Ones We Lost” entered the top20 and became HEDEGAARDs4thand 5th top20 entry in a row; underlining his status as the hottest EDM artist in China.
That status was recently further substantiated by enormous viral attention on the Chinese social media Doujin, where HEDEGAARD accepted a remix challenge from the influencer Sander Kole;resulting in an 8 minute video that has generated more than 71 million views, and+2 million likes.
In a genre dominated by ghost production, HEDEGAARD is a 100% self-made artist; first and foremost being a naturally gifted musician, who turned his focus towards DJing-in that order.
Monthly listeners on Spotify ranges between 1.1to 1.7 million, and the streaming total of 2022 on the platform was more than 54 million (over 1 million streams a week); figures achieved solely on organic growth, leading to the only conclusion: The audience loves the sound of HEDEGAARD.
The reward for his work does not only come in the form of impressive streaming numbers, but has also resulted in nominations at award shows. HEDEGAARD has previously won several DMAawards, DJ and Club Awards, and as the top nominee at the Club Awards 2024, in five categories,and with a bigshare a nomination in a sixth category,the feat is second to none in Denmark.

LOCATING THE EVENT:
It is located on Gst in Arcata, just south of Redwood Curtain Brewery. Google directions to 700 south G st, Arcata
Bathrooms:
There are 3 porta potties near the art corner, there is extra toilet paper inside. Please be respectful and do not ruin the extra rolls.
Getting to the Event:
We recommend ride sharing, and using the drop off zone in the Redwood Curtain parking lot. There will also be limited street parking around the event as well as multiple public lots.
