Edith Hokman, an expert in emergency preparedness, will give a presetation, "Prepare Before Diaster for After Disaster," at a North Cost Mensa public forum at noon Saturday at the Samoa Cookhouse. The event is open to the public and lunch is no-host. Hokman is a member of the Humboldt County Sheriff's Posse and, disaster service worker with the Community Emergency Response Team. .
