Redwood Caregiver Resource Center and Adult Day Health and Alzheimer’s Services of the Humboldt Senior Resource Center Present - Understanding Dementia Behavior: Managing Resistance to Personal Care Monday November 16, 2015 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM *Registration begins at 9:00 AM. Facilitated by Alexis Glidewell, LCSW Family Consultant, Redwood Caregiver Resource Center *Attendees will learn strategies to better facilitate the participation and cooperation of the person for whom they provide care while assisting him or her in activities of daily living.* Redwood Caregiver Resource Center will provide grants for respite care for family caregivers who need it in order to attend. Requests for respite must be made by November 9, 2015. Location: Alzheimer’s Resource Center Library 1901 B California Street Eureka, CA 95501 Cost: $20.00 per person (scholarships available for family caregivers) Checks made out to Redwood CRC Lunch: Participants have the choice of bringing their lunches to the class or purchasing lunch (pizza) for an additional $5.00, payable the day of the event.
