Zombie Ballet
North Coast Dance will host a Membership Gala and Fundraiser on Friday, October 25 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at their studios located at 426 F Street in Eureka. The North Coast Dance Board of Directors and Dancers invite the community to attend this Halloween-themed party and learn more about the mission of North Coast Dance.
The evening will commence with witches presenting guests with a blood-red rose and champagne served in a commemorative, etched North Coast Dance flute. A bountiful buffet and “spirits” will be served. In addition, attendees will be treated to a “Zombie Ballet” featuring witches, mummies, vampires and more.
This annual Membership Fundraising Gala is part of the fundraising efforts of North Coast Dance, so “That Every Child Who Wants to Dance – Can!” This event is focused on supporting the non-profit efforts of North Coast Dance with providing quality education, dance and performance for the North Coast. Tickets are $75/person and will help fund scholarships for the 20% of children who dance at North Coast Dance on scholarship. Guests will also receive “Nutcracker” opening night & Gala tickets for the December 13 performance and a one-year North Coast Dance membership.
The event will include a silent and live auction to include the opportunity to win a Baywood Golf Package, a get-away to the Benbow Inn, sightseeing flight over Humboldt County or a piece of artwork by local artisan Nancy Flemming. Guests are encouraged to attend in costume!
