With a history in the NW music scene 20+ years now, Jordan Rain/Yogoman has cast a radiant light, open heart and sonic soul on America with his ever evolving collective Yogoman Burning Band. The sound is described as “Jamaica New Orleans Dance Riddims,” and with Rain leading the group as both a premier singer and drummer simultaneously; it is a remarkable feature to the group. YBB’s cartoon alien talisman Yogoman, is responsible for YBB's motto- Let's Get Ridiculous, reminding earthlings not to take themselves too seriously, and that dancing, no matter what the style or lack of it, always makes you feel better. Yogoman Burning Band is here to liberate souls and dance floors worldwide, without seeking rock star or guru accolades.
What makes this Super Family Fun Tour extra special is the Multi-Family Band YBB line up that includes two infants on board.. There are some new members that have yet to play in these tour locations such as Jacqueline Rae on vocals and bongos, Miles Harris on guitar and vocals, Jeremiah Austin on Trumpet and Diana Austin on Baritone Saxophone. Jacqueline and Yogoman recently just had a baby boy April 21st (last month), so Buck Rain will be along for his first California tour. The horn section are there own family unit with their little man Desmond Austin (10 months) jumping on board as well for the adventure. Taking care of the mini burning bandits while parents play the music will be Chloe Howard, Jacqueline’s oldest daughter who’s boyfriend is Miles Harris (on guitar), and some of you are familiar with Yogo’s dad Mike Rain who is still holding it down on bass and vocals. As you can see, nothing can stop Yogoman’s mission from the planet Yog to liberate earthlings from the dark forces of self-conscious bondage and will continue to help the youth of today and the adults of tomorrow keep a joyful spring in their step!
