Yoga Therapy: Back Care Series

Do you have a cranky back? Tight Hips? Back Injury? Then this series with Samantha is for you! Join Sam at Om Shala Yoga for a 5-week yoga series that will help students to work with their own specific needs in a yoga class. Learn how to use yoga to heal the back, open and strengthen the Psoas muscle and adjust a group class to meet your needs.

Yoga is meant to be therapeutic to the back, if we are practicing with correct alignment. Using Yoga Therapy, Samantha has designed specific sequencing for care of the back, strength of the core and length and strength for the Psoas muscle. In these 5 weeks, students will gain important insight into their specific back injuries and pain and have something to take with them to use as a lifelong practice.

Samantha teaches with a focus on proper breathing and shares mindfulness techniques to help students live more fully in the present moment, pleasant or unpleasant.

Five Week Series:
Thursdays - 5:30pm-6:45pm - September 1st - 29th
