Whitethorn School's Fun Run, 5K, 10K
Friends of Whitethorn Elementary School is holding the Fun Run, 5k and 10k once again! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and 100% of the proceeds go towards the Whitethorn School’s enrichment programs, school supplies, and technology and furniture upgrades. It will start and finish at the Community Clubhouse at 1550 Upper Pacific Drive in Shelter Cove. Day of registration opens at 10:00 a.m. with staggered start times starting at 10:45 a.m. Delila and friends will be doing a Strong by Zumba warmup. We will have a kids area with our favorite clown Razzle Dazzle doing face painting. Wild Child Forest School, an amazing program full of cool nature based fun, is going to have an interactive area. Delicious barbecue starting at noon, with the side salads catered by J Catering, Gyppo beer and local wine, non-alcoholic beverages, homemade desserts by Whale Gulch School, and music by local favorites, The Hum Bros.
