The Thoughts, Marina V, Summer Nites
The Thoughts are an orchestral-folk duo comprised of singer/songwriter Ian Williams and multi-instrumentalist/producer Katie Mosehauer. Their emotionally-driven songs of love and loss are rooted in visceral, dream-like imagery, buoyed and lifted by an array of sonically rich soundscapes, built with strings, harp, acoustic guitar, harmonium, piano, and orchestral percussion. Williams’ voice croons, pleads, and soars throughout, a melodic and vivid through-line surrounded by Mosehauer’s heartbreakingly beautiful, alternatingly intimate and epic strings, harp, harmonium, and piano.
Marina V is a Russian-American award-winning singer and songwriter. She's toured all over the world, from the famed Kodak Theatre in Hollywood to the American Embassy in Moscow. Marina's written songs for TV shows such as NBC's Days of Our Lives, ads, films and games. Her new album MY STAR has been praised by fans and critics alike, and the first single You Make Me Beautiful recently won an award from Sir Bob Geldof in London.
