The Shining Heads of Homer

The Shining Heads of Homer is a musical telling of Homer’s The Illiad, the story of the Trojan War, performed by Coastal Grove's 5th Grade Class.

This sixteen song production is in the vein of such classics as The Who's Tommy and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Written by Robert Bernstein, The Shining Heads of Homer leads us through this epic tale as our narrator, Homer, and the key participants wade through timeless themes of love, loyalty, and redemption.

This production is tailored to be an all ages show that can be enjoyed by the entire family.

There will be two showings: Thursday, 5/17, and Friday, 5/18, with both shows starting at 6 pm. At 5 pm, Greek Fare, wine & beer will be available for purchase. Tickets available at the door. Suggested donation: $5 to $500.

All proceeds benefit the Coastal Grove 5th Grade and Coastal Grove Charter School PTO.
