The Lowest Pair
The Sanctuary is excited to welcome back, for the third time, some singing and songwriting pals from the Pacific Northwest, The Lowest Pair. Kendl and Palmer play banjo duets with the musical integrity of serious old-timers, and sing tunes playful and surreal with the whimsy of the forever young. The Cowtown Serenaders will be providing an opening set of floaty folk songs and accordion/singing saw duets, dreamt up by Sanctuary resident artists Tayloranne Finch and Daniel Nickerson, with help from J St regulars Cyrus Smith and Hannah Lee Hoffman. Sunday, October 13th at 1301 J Street in Arcata. $10-25 sliding scale, doors at 7:30, music at 8:00.
