Teen Court's 4th Annual Second Chances Art Show and Raffle

Humboldt County Teen Court presents the 4th Annual Second Chances Art Show on May 2nd, 6-9 pm at Old Town Coffee and Chocolates. It’ll take place during Arts Alive! and features photos and drawings done by local artists. Every one of the contributors is a youth from our surrounding community which makes Second Chances 2015 a show not to miss! “Teen court is all about giving youth a chance to express themselves and have a voice. Second Chances art show allows just that, through art with an important purpose and artists that need to be heard.” -Fayanne Kirkpatrick, youth artist from 2014 This community event is a Fundraiser, Art Sale, and Raffle for the Boys & Girls Club TEEN COURT. Teen Court is a juvenile offender diversion program based on restorative justice and peer accountability. Teens, who have admitted guilt, agree to have their case heard by their peers, who focus on coming up with an appropriate sentence that will help the offender to learn from their mistake. Please join us on Saturday, May 2nd during Arts Alive! from 6-9 pm at Old Town Coffee & Chocolates, 211 F St, Eureka.
