Taste of the Holidays
Rotary Club of Arcata Sunrise’s Community Foundation is once again hosting the “Taste of the Holidays” event on the Thursday before Thanksgiving, at the Arcata Community Center. This fun and elegant evening has become a premier social event celebrating our sense of community and, for many of us, kicks off the holiday season. There will be over 30 producers featuring local specialty foods and beverages for your sampling pleasure. We will also again have our popular Dutch auction. Toys For Tots! Also be sure to bring an unwrapped toy and receive a raffle ticket to be entered into a drawing for a prize! It is all happening from 5 to 8 on Thursday, November 21st. Ticket includes unlimited tastes and includes some wine/beer/spirits tastings. Additional wines, locally crafted beer and spirit tasting tickets will be available for purchase, as well as free non-alcoholic options. This event supports our foundation’s many good works in the community and around the world. We also pride ourselves in doing a good job of “fun-raising” at our events, providing a great food and entertainment value for your dollar.
