The Redwood Jazz Alliance's 11th Season opens with a homecoming by pianist Randy Porter and bassist Shao Way Wu, who met as students at HSU three decades ago. They recently reconnected--and clicked--in Portland, where they both live, and laid down a gorgeous album of Shao Way's compositions.
