Sustainable Futures Speaker Series
As part of the Sustainable Futures Speaker Series, Sharon Levy will present "Arcata Marsh: Roots and Branches." Science writer Sharon Levy is the author of The Marsh Builders: the Fight for Clean Water, Wetlands, and Wildlife. In this new book from Oxford University Press, Levy delves into the global roots of the citizen uprising that built Arcata’s marsh, as well as its lessons for modern activists and regulators. The presentation will take place Thursday, September 20, at 5:30 p.m. in Siemens Hall 108 on the Humboldt State University campus.
