Sustainable Futures Speaker Series
As part of the Sustainable Futures Speaker Series, Dr. Alex Schunka will present “Water Use and Water Management in Early Modern Europe.” His research addresses the history of early modern migrations, the history of natural resources, transcultural encounters between the Ottoman world and Central Europe, and intellectual and religious transfers between English and German Protestants in the 17th and 18th centuries, among other topics. The Sustainable Futures Speaker Series is presented by the Environment & Community Graduate Program and the Schatz Energy Research Center. The presentation will take place Wednesday, September 28, at 5:30 p.m. in the UC Banquet Room on the HSU campus.
