Summer Arts and Music Festival

Festival goers can expect two days of 150+ craft vendors, a wide selection of local food booths, a fun Kids Zone, Belly Dance Temple and Generation Green Area!

The Mateel Community Center presents the 43rd annual Summer Arts & Music Festival, June 1-2 2019 at Benbow State Recreation Area in Garberville. The event features over 70 performances on four stages including regional bands, dance troupes, DJ’s and children’s entertainers, 150 handmade craft, food and non-profit booths, a Kids Zone, Generation Green Area, & Bellydance Temple. All of these festival offerings are set against the backdrop of the ancient redwoods at Benbow State Recreation Area along the majestic Eel River. Kids 12 and under are offered free admission.

Long Beach Dub All Stars, Nattali Rize, Aggrolites, Tomorrows Bad Seeds, Saritah, Andre Thierry & Accordion Soul, Object Heavy feat. Raashan Ahmad, Stymie & Pimp Jones Luv Orchestra, Husky & The Slow Attack, The Real Sarahs, US Blues, Irie Rockerz, The Hum Bros, Special Guest Family, Nima G and many more! 

The 43rd edition of the event voted “the best music festival in Humboldt” (North Coast Journal 2015 & 2016 ) is a fundraiser for non-profit Mateel Community Center. Discounted two-day advance tickets are available now for $40. Advance pricing is available for 2 day passes, and single day tickets The event hours are 10am-10pm June 1st & 2nd.
