Studio 299 Holiday Gift Boutique 2015 Part of Willow Creek’s Special Holiday Weekend Studio 299 Center for the Arts will host their third annual Holiday Gift Boutique on Saturday December 5 and Sunday December 6, part of Willow Creek’s big holiday shopping weekend. This event offers local artists and artisans an opportunity to present their work for sale to the Willow Creek community. With over 20 local artists presenting their work there will be a wide variety of items at prices to fit every budget. Popular artists from past years will be back along with several exciting new artists. Shoppers can browse the selection of photography, ceramics, glasswork, woodworking, jewelry, quilts, cards and more. Come to Willow Creek this weekend for a variety of holiday activities will take place in the area including: • Santa photos at Umpqua Bank on Friday evening starting at 4:30 • China Flat Museum’s Holiday Bazaar, including the area’s largest selection of Bigfoot merchandise, open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. • The Maggie Dickson Holiday Bazaar in Hoopa on Sunday, 10 am to 3 pm. • Bigfoot Days Auction on Saturday at the VFW Hall in Veterans Park, doors open at 11 and auction begins at 12:30. • Holiday movie for the family at Dream Quest at 2:00 pm. • Willow Creek Chamber of Commerce Shopping Promotion, with hundreds of dollars in free prizes. • Community Tree Lighting at 5:00 pm Saturday at the Community Commons, with carolers plus free hot chocolate by Willow Creek Kiwanis Studio 299’s Gift Boutique will be open from 10 am to 4 pm Saturday and Sunday at the Studio 299 Gallery, located at 75 The Terrace in Willow Creek. Admission is free and complimentary hot beverages will be available. Each day there will be a beautiful and bountiful gift basket raffled off that includes local food, wine and art; raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Studio 299 is a non-profit community group devoted to the promotion and development of the arts in the Klamath and Trinity communities of Northern California. The gallery and gift shop is located at 75 The Terrace in Willow Creek and is open regularly on Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Completed in 2012, the multipurpose gallery offers an attractive location for the community to come together at monthly openings, open mike nights, and special events and during gallery hours.
