(CANCELED) What We Have Always Known
The Southern Humboldt Family Resource Center and the 0 to 8 Mental Health Collaborative present a short film on early childhood development. The movie, What We Have Always Known is a collaboration between Dr. Bruce Perry, Child Trauma Expert and experts of the Navajo Nation. Following the film, participate in a facilitated discussion with Rebecca Lowry, MSW, Commissioner of First Five Humboldt, and member of the Delaware (Lenape) Tribe. Please join us on Thursday, February 5 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Garberville Civic Club on Maple Lane. This will be a fun, educational event for parents, teachers, or anyone who works with children. A light soup and salad will be provided. Admission is free. This event is made possible by a grant from Humboldt BRIDGES. Hope to see you there.
