Community Farm Tour
Just 10 minutes out HWY 36, Shakefork Community Farm is located just east of Carlotta on the Van Duzen River. You’ll tour a uniquely diverse CSA and market farm featuring 12 acres of grain, seed, hay and mixed vegetables, pasture-raised broilers and eggs, and a variety of other livestock. Come meet Humboldt County’s only oxen team! Attendees are encouraged to bring a bag lunch for a picnic! Attendees are encouraged to also visit Forest Lakes Nursery at noon as part of a farm tour double header. Both tours hosted by North Coast Growers Association.
