Science Night

College of the Redwoods will host its historic 32nd Science Night on Friday, Oct. 18th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. This educational and fun evening of free activities will be held on the CR’s Eureka main campus. The campus is located at 7351 Tompkins Hill Road, seven miles south of Eureka. Parking is free, and there is no admission charge. Science Night offers fun for all ages and includes demonstrations, hands-on activities, and experiments. CR faculty, non-profit groups, and volunteers will be hosting more than twenty activities for curious scientists of all ages with lots of “hands-on” fun for children. Some of the activities include “Howling Gummi Bears,” the “Chemical Magic Show,” “Bubble Magic,” constructing a giant Lego-Nation, and the “Pumpkin Chucking Trebuchet (catapult).” Bring your entire family and come early, eat kid friendly meals at the CR Café or a visiting food truck.
