Sand Sculpture Festival
Grab your shovels and some friends and join Friends of the Dunes for the Sand Sculpture Festival. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate, and cash prizes will be awarded! Registration for sculptors opens at 8 a.m. The entry fee is $15 for teams of up to six people, $20 for larger teams. Register in advance at friendsofthedunes.org and receive a $5 discount. Spectators are welcome, a $1 to $5 sliding scale donation is encouraged to support Friends of the Dunes education programs.
